City to Pay for After School Bus Trips to Randolph Rec. Center

By REGINA KEILERS Last school year La Grange ISD ran an additional bus route to transport students to Randolph Recreation Center for the after school program. The school board stated at that time that it was against current school policy to take the students to the center, but they would continue to do so for the remainder of the 2015-16 school year while exploring other options including the implementation of a LGISD after school care program. 

The La Grange school board announced Monday that they will continue transporting students to the Randolph Recreation Center. This action took place after the City of La Grange made the request to the board.  The bus trips will cost $18.62 per school day. This cost will be paid by the City of La Grange.
