The Life of a Scribbler

When I speak at an event, I am introduced as a columnist and author, but that really isn’t who I am and it embarrasses me. It is certainly not the Brenda Miles you first knew. You know the real me. I am still that same gutsy gal who walked into The Fayette County Record in 2007 without a hint of a resume or journalism training or newspaper column experience and asked Larry Jackson for a job.
