Shorthorns Beat Luling 26-12

After a disappointing opening night 45-point loss to Hallettsville, the Schulenburg football team turned things around in a big way Friday, beating Luling 26-12. 

Schulenburg quarterback Josh Brown ran for a pair of early touchdowns and then Brandt Vyvjala and Zach Rast added touchdown runs. Meanwhile the Shorthorn defense was stingy, allowing just 113 total yards to Luling.

The Shorthorns play at unbeaten Ganado (2-0) this week.
