Margaret Harris, beloved mother, 88, died Sept. 10, 2016 in Galveston. Margaret was born on Nov. 25,1927 to Dr. H.O. Halamicek and Bessie Bounds Halamicek in Granger. She married Harold Harris on July 27, 1946 in El Campo. She worked for Weber- Peters-Nitsche Insurance Agency. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, and volunteering at Second Chance. She is survived by daughter, Janet Enderle and husband Barry of Galveston; son, Howard Dale Harris of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Brandie and Fred Anderson of Smithville; Lance Neal of Galveston and Reanna Abshire of Dickinson; Jessica Harris of Fayetteville; Jennifer Harris of Fayetteville; Dawn and John Wagnon of Bastrop; Dustin and Desirae Enderle of Houston; Evan Enderle of Houston; her beloved dog Sally; great-grandchildren, Adreyan, Devonte, and Alyssa Harris of Smithville; Kiah and Jackson Abshire of Dickinson; Jessie Dale Davidson of Oregon; Samantha McCoy of Fayetteville; Alex Padron, Xavier, and Amelia Wagnon of Bastrop; Mykah and Leyla Enderle; brother, C.J. Halamicek and wife Chic; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and one sister. Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 from 12 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Funeral services for Margaret were held Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Interment followed at Halamicek Cemetery in Roznov. Memorial donations may be made in Margaret’s name to Providence Place; 6487 Whitby Rd; San Antonio, Texas 78240- 2131. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
