La Grange Police Keep Busy During Week of Feb. 19-26

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Feb. 19-26.

Assault

On Feb. 24, Chief David Gilbreath responded to the 800 block of S. Vail where a principal had reported a female student had struck another female student after school. The case was refereed to juvenile probation for assault.

On Feb. 25, Patrolman Joseph Gates was dispatched to the emergency room at St. Mark’s Medical Center in reference to an assault.

Animal Complaint

On Feb. 19, Patrolman Justin Koehne responded to One St. Mark’s Place where ER nurses advised an individual was bitten by his own cat. Koehne advised the complainant to have him check to make sure the cat was up to date on his shots.

On Feb. 20, Patrolman Kristi Anguiano received a call from the 800 block of N. Franklin where a caller advised he has a large black lab mix on his front porch and it won’t let him leave the house. The dog came on the porch during stormy weather.
