Hinze
Effie “Frances” Hollingshead Hinze was born in Dallas on Aug. 24, 1932 to Clarence and Cleola Hollinghead and died in Plano on April 4, 2017 at the age of 84. Frances grew up in Dallas, married Deroy Bolten, and moved to Sealy in the late 1940s. She was mother to six children and grandmother or “moo-moo” to nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, cards, dominoes, football, fishing, camping and trips to the casino. The loves of her life were her six kids! She is preceeded in death by her mother and father, her three brothers, one son Deroy Bolten, Jr., and husbands, Deroy Bolten, Robert Hinze and Homer Henry. Frances is survived by sons Dusty Bolten and wife Susan of Brazoria and Joe Bolten also of Brazoria; daughters, Malinda Terrell of Flatonia, Judy Rose and husband Larry of Addison, Nancy Cernoch and husband David of Ellinger; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and many many dear friends. A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 11 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Famers Branch where Frances lived the past three years. Later this year her ashes will be released into the Gulf of Mexico where so many memories were made fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
