Schulenburg Cannabis Facility Moves Forward
Two marijuana reform bills died in the Texas House of Representatives last week. However, those failures won’t affect plans by Cansortium Texas to bring a cannabis dispensary operation to the Schulenburg area.

“Through diligence and hard work, Cansortium Texas is focused on defining excellence in the medical cannabis field at every level, and that begins by providing unrivaled compassionate care to our patients,” said Cansortium spokesperson Adam Sharon in a statement to the Record.
Sharon said a Cansortium subsidiary, Knox Medical, would conduct the company’s operations in Schulenburg. Sharon said Cansortium and Knox Medical currently operate in Florida and Puerto Rico, which both allow medical marijuana.
