Fayetteville Kicks Off Summer with Picking Park Friday
If you think that the “Hometown” Texas experience is gone, you haven’t been to Fayetteville, lately. And what better time to celebrate this National Registry community than summer with music, art, culture, museums, galleries, and preservation taking center stage.
It’s never too late to step into a different beat of music in case you haven’t tried the Fayetteville Picking Park right on the square scheduled for jamming beginning the evening of Friday, June 9 and continuing throughout the day on Saturday, June 10. Slow jam begins at 1 p.m in the Old Fire Station led by Lou Lou Barbour and the Old Fire Station closes at 10 p.m as music continues in the gazebo and the square later into the evening
