Those Harassing Calls

We’ve all received them – phone calls from an unknown number or one you don’t recognize. When it happens on my personal phone, I simply ignore the call. But, when it happens on my business phone, I have to answer. After all, I don’t know the numbers of all of the people who might be calling the office.

Well, I got one of those calls recently. The person on the other end told me that he needed information about a recent workman’s comp claim. I didn’t have the information at my fingertips, so I asked for a call back number. I then called my insurance agent who informed me that, to his knowledge, the claim was closed. So, why would someone be calling me about this? I decided not to return the call and I thought it would go away.
