Melvin Roy “Butch” Lehmann

Melvin Roy “Butch” Lehmann, 63, of Winchester, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017. Butch was born in Bastrop on Sept. 12, 1953, the son of Mary Ruth (Reinhardt) Lehmann and the late, Reinhold Arnold Lehmann. He was a “people person” and enjoyed talking and joking with everyone he met; he never met a stranger. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lehmann of Winchester; two sons: Jared Lehmann and wife, Ashley, of Kerrville; Jonathan Lehmann and wife, Jordan, of College Station; three sisters: Mary Jane Burns and husband, Howard, of Smithville; Joyce Herzog and husband, Stanley, of Winchester; Connie Gail Taylor and husband, Keith, of San Antonio; brother, Kenneth Wayne Lehmann and wife, Stacye, of Giddings; and four grandchildren: Zoe Saldana, Brandon, Jadynn and Jacey Lehmann. Funeral Services will be held at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Winchester at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 with Pastor Nate Hill officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
