Flood Update - Monday, Aug. 28, 10:50 a.m.

Mid-morning flood update:
• Some houses on North Main Street in La Grange are taking on water as the river continues to rise. 
• Houses on South Main have water into their backyards.
• Mostly the water line of the flood-swollen Colorado River sits between Water and Main Streets, meaning about 100 La Grange houses have water in them.
* The houses at Colorado Landing RV  are now completely covered by water.
• The KC Hall has several feet of water in it.
• Care Inn evacuees have been taken to St. Paul Lutheran church and some to St. Mark's.
• Both Highway 71 bridges are closed to traffic, the Highway 77 bridge remains open.
