Muldoon Methodist Church Announces Schedule Changes

Muldoon Methodist Church is readjusting to the fall and the change of schedules. As of Sept. 10 they will be meeting on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 2 p.m. All are invited to come out and join this strong faith little church in worship. They open their doors to all who are seeking a group of warm, caring people who love God and want to worship.

Out And About

John and Debra Schwartzenburg traveled into Houston to check on family this past week. They checked on Debra’s mom, Yvonne Speed and found her high and dry. Yvonne had no troubles during all the flooding due to the hurricane and proudly told them she had done this many times before. Then they traveled on down into the more flooded areas to check on their daughter and son in law, Michelle and Tommy Mitchell. They had ridden out the hurricane in their second floor apartment with only a little trouble, but their cars did get water up the tires. It was looking like the cars did not sustain much damage. This was great news for the Mitchells. Tommy is studying to become a physician and is preparing to do his month away study at Yale University; meanwhile Michelle is finishing out her work to become an optometrist.
