Wendish Fest Slated Sept. 24

The Texas Wendish Heritage Society will host the 29th Annual Wendish Fest on Sunday, Sept. 24. The event will be held at the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum Complex and the St. Paul Lutheran Church picnic grounds at Serbin.

The daylong event will begin with an 8:30 a.m. English worship service and a 10:30 a.m. German worship service. Guest speaker for both services will be Rev. Dr. Will Schumacher, mission professor of historical theology, and director of the Institute for Mission Studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Sunday School and Bible Class will be held at 9:30 a.m.
