New Wider FM 154 Bridge In Muldoon Nears Completion

The bridge on FM 154 just south of Parker Road is finally starting to come together. The barriers are gone, asphalt has been laid, railing up, and the major thing left is the stripping of the lanes. This long process has included a total road closure and reduced lane sizes with flagmen on both ends. The end product will be an improvement over the old structure, much wider.

Martin Cherry Sr and Martin Cherry Jr, local singers, were involved in the Texas Heroes’ Day at Monument Hill Park. They joined the Monument Hill Singers to perform period correct songs and bring back to life the history that surrounds the area. The Muldoon community has some great talent and it is so great when others outside our little boundaries get to hear and appreciate the voices of the Cherry men.
