Willie Jean Rogers

Willie Jean Rogers, 88, beloved mother and friend, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 15, 2017. She was born in Floresville in 1929. She married Jack Ingram and moved to La Grange in 1950. Jean was a member of First Baptist Church of La Grange where she served many years. One of her favorite things to do was camping. Her sons can remember going camping every summer during the time they grew up. Jean was also a member of Campers on Mission whose motto was “Sharing Christ as we go”. She is survived by her brothers, Leon Westfall, David Westfall, and Donald Westfall; sons, Bill and Robert Ingram; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Verna (Teague) Westfall; sister, Melba Shouse; brother, Wayne Westfall; husband, Jack Ingram and husband, Milton Rogers. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in La Grange on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. The family gives special thanks to Care Inn of La Grange, Bastrop Nursing Center and South Austin Hospital for taking special care of our loved one.
