Marion Ruth (Walling) Johnson, 73, of La Grange, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. Marion was born in Oregon on Sept. 20, 1944, the daughter of George L. Walling and Anna L. (Stewart) Walling. She loved to travel and spent many years traveling all over the world. She always had a smile and loved being with her family. Marion was a loving and caring mother. She is survived by son, Randy Boyd and wife, Angie, of La Grange; sister, Georgia Lane of Killeen; five grandchildren: Brooke Nicole Boyd, Aleksandra Boyd, Dashia Fernandez, Meagan Sandoval and Lacy Gregg. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Franklin Boyd; and brother, Timothy Walling. Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Funeral Services followed at 11 a.m. with burial at La Grange City Cemetery.
