Chilek

A visitation for Lucille T. Chilek, 78, of La Grange was held Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 in the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel from noon until 7 p.m. with the family present from 5 until 7 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow in the Halamicek Cemetery in Fayetteville under the care and direction of Fayette Memorial Funeral Home of La Grange. Lucille was born Jan. 19, 1939 in Lavaca County to Adolph and Agnes Rainosek Jurena. She was a nurse and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. Lucille is survived by two sons, Bobby Chilek and his wife, Pamela of La Grange and Randy Chilek of La Grange; two daughters, Suzanne Janda, and her husband, David of La Grange, and Lauri Halamicek, and her husband, Cary of Fayetteville; one sister; Lillian Graf, and her husband Robert of Houston; eight grandchildre, Kristen Chilek, Jeff Chilek, Joshua Ledbetter, Heather Duncan, Mike Chilek, Chris Chilek, Marissa Halamicek, and Wade Halamicek; three great grandchildren, Nevaeh Duncan, Maylee Duncan, and Braiden Ledbetter. She was preceeeded in death by her parents and one brother; Leonard Jurena. Family suggests memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude’s Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105- 9959. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
