Dorothy J. Naiser

Dorothy J. Naiser of Mullins Prairie was born Oct. 11, 1937 and died Dec. 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben M. Halamicek and Vlasta Halamicek; her first husband Eldore M. Schneider and her second husband, Johnnie R. Naiser. She is survived by her brother, Ben L. Halamicek of Columbus and her sister Connie Stanley and her husband, John Stanley of Fayetteville; her five children and their spouses, Marvin Schneider of Mullins Prairie, Jackie Miller and husband, David Miller of Fayetteville, Jeff Schneider of Mullins Prairie, Becky Vitek and her husband, Robert Vitek of Fayetteville, and Ted Schneider of Ellinger; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was an entrepreneur, having started World Travel in 1983 in La Grange and Rolling Hills Country Homes in 1999 in La Grange. She was a Landman in the oil and gas industry; she had a cake decorating business; she was in the cattle industry; on the Board of Directors of Colorado Valley Telephone Company; a Charter Member of the Pilot Club of La Grange; she was a fabulous cook and loved to feed and take care of her loved ones. Memorial Services will be held at the Halamicek Family Cemetery near Fayetteville on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at 10 a.m.
