Ellinger VFD Receives Humanitarian Award

The Ellinger Hermann Sons Life had their Christmas party on Dec. 9 at the Ellinger C of C Hall. Jerry Krenek, Secretary/ treasurer welcomed those in attendance. Krenek then introduced Elaine Koehl who gave the blessing before a delicious meal.

Agent Judith Schulmeier introduced daughter Samantha V.P of Operations of the Grand Lodge. Samantha gave a brief message about the grand lodge; she then read the names of members who have been members for 60 and 70 years this year.

Bruce Kubena a member of the Ellinger Volunteer Fire Department accepted a check from the lodge in appreciation from the lodge for the use of the fire station to hold their meetings.
