Marvin T. Schmidt

Marvin T. Schmidt, 85, died in Houston on Jan. 22, 2018. He was born in Round Top and the owner of Markay Furniture since 1957. Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Schmidt; a daughter, Deborah Kay Gilbert and husband Joe; two sons, Tommy Schmidt, John Schmidt and wife Lucy; grandchildren, Brandon Schmidt, Meredith Gilbert, Sofia Schmidt, Cameron Schmidt; one great-grandchild, Sebastian Simmons. Marvin was preceded in death by his Brothers, Nolan Schmidt, Ruben Schmidt, an infant Brother; Mother, Ella Poindexter, Father, Felix Schmidt. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
