Local EMS/Firefighters Honored in Austin With Clinical Save Award

Members of Fayette County EMS and the La Grange Fire Department received recognition on February 21, 2018 at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin for a 2017 Clinical Save Award recognizing “Professionals whose performance of emergency medical care directly results in saving a human life.” On June 21, 2017 Luke Herbrich, 10 years old, was found just outside his home with a severe head injury from a bicycle accident.
