Wilfred “Bill” Peschel, Jr., 60, of Industry, bladed his last road, a smooth passage to heaven, on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Bill was born in Bellville on Oct. 18, 1957, the son of Wilfred Peschel, Sr. and Mary “Kay” Kathryn (Sothern) Peschel. He married Linda Mikeska on December 24, 1992 in Industry. He worked as an Equipment Operator for Austin County in Industry for 26 years and was a Carpenter for Alfred Krause for 17 years prior to that. He is survived by his wife, Linda, of 25 years; three daughters: Mindy Chesson and husband, James, of Industry; Misty Peschel and friend, Ryan Sarrach, of Houston; and Melanie Benker and husband, Chad, of Brenham; two sisters: Debra Ann Kollman and husband, Dale, of New Ulm; Wanda Kay Wiktorik and husband, Terry, of Industry; two brothers: Karl O’Brien Peschel and wife, Peggy, of Industry; John Dean Peschel of Industry; fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pat and Jean Mikeska; brother- in- law Kenneth Mikeska, sister- in- law, Judy Mikeska; one niece and two nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Nelsonville Brethren Church in Bellville at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Industry.
