Alina Faith Quinonez

Funeral services for Alina Faith Quinonez, infant daughter of Aaron Quinonez and Mireya Mata of Giddings, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Giddings with Father Uche Andeh officiating. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery. Visitation was held April 18, 2018 and April 19, 2018 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home. A Rosary was recited Wednesday evening. Alina was born asleep the afternoon of Friday, April 13, 2018 at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Guadalupe Villegas. Alina is survived by her parents, Aaron Quinonez and Mireya Mata of Giddings; her sister, Analia Quinonez of Giddings; her grandparents, Carmen Mata of Giddings, Manuel Mata of Dime Box, and Gabriel and Alicia Quinonez of Paige; her great-grandfather, Fausto Villegas of Lincoln; her uncles and aunts, Manuel Mata Jr. of Lincoln, Marisol Mata of Lincoln, Mary and Adrian Everett of Giddings, Olivia Quinonez of Paige, and Gracie Quinonez of Houston; her great-uncles and aunts, Fausto Jr. and Judith Villegas of San Antonio and Ismael and Yesenia Villegas of Lincoln. Memorials may be made to the Lee County Area Cancer Resource Center. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
