Habitat Houses Going Up

A team of Habitat for Humanity Care-A-Vanners is in La Grange working on three home sites which are under construction at 938 Pearl Street. Care-A-Vanners are volunteers who travel from build to build in recreational vehicles.

“We’re just here for three weeks to help the locals get started on these houses,” Care-A-Van crew chief “Darnell” said. Darnell, who refused to give a last name, is from Utah and said she will go to a build in Minnesota next.
