Stanzel Family Foundation Appoints Executive Director

The Stanzel Family Foundation, Inc. (SFF) is transitioning to an executive director organizational structure. In this process, the foundation has selected Cheryl Hudec Pekar as executive director. Cheryl grew up in Weimar and graduated from Weimar High School. She received a Joseph and Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship. She acquired two associate’s degrees from Blinn College and then attended Sam Houston State University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sociology specializing in rural community development.
