18-Wheeler Wreck Slows Traffic on SH 71

An 18-wheeler hauling sacks of concrete mix rolled over on SH 71 near Ellinger around 9:30 a.m. this morning, June 29.

Debris is blocking part of the westbound side of the highway. Traffic is down to one lane. The wreck is near Zapalac Road. Motorist should expect delays for a few hours while emergency workers clear the roadway.

Fayette County EMS is treating one person for injuries.
