Polka News Celebrates 30th Anniversary With Bash in Schulenburg

It was a “honyock” hullabaloo at the Schulenburg KC Hall on Saturday, June 30.

“Honyock” is a word sometimes used to affectionately describe stubborn Texas Czechs.

Hundreds of polka music fans filled the hall for the 30th anniversary party for the Texas Polka News.

Of course, the polka newspaper knew how to throw a proper party.
