Man Resists Arrest at Subway in La Grange

The early lunch crowd at Subway in La Grange witnessed what could have been a live episode of the TV show COPS on Tuesday, July 17.

Around 11:30 a.m. La Grange Police struggled to arrest a man who entered the business and “caused a scene,” according to Police Chief David Gilbreath. 

Gilbreath said the incident began earlier that morning when the suspect allegedly threatened to harm his girlfriend at a residence in town. Officer Brian Adams responded to the residence, but the suspect had left.
