Federal Hurricane Aid Here Totals $13 Million

Federal Emergency Management Agency released figures on July 13 that say $13.79 million in Hurricane Harvey disaster aid has been distributed so far in Fayette County.

Fayette County Emergency Management Coordinator Janet Carrigan shared the figures with Commissioners Court on Monday, July 23.

The FEMA numbers show the agency has approved 400 applications for individual aid. The agency has paid $5.07 million in housing and other related expenses.
