Fayette County Czech Heritage Society Meets

The Fayette County Chapter of CHS met at the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center (TCHCC) on Sunday, Sept. 9, with 30 in attendance. After the Pledge to the Flag, Treasurer Alfred Ermis led the CHS prayer in Czech.

Guests included Lukas Vankler from the Czech Republic and a relative of members T. J. and Myrna Slansky. T. J. introduced Lukas and he told us about himself and his IT work in Austin the previous week. New members Glen Felder and Marilyn Cernoch were introduced. Several other guests joined the chapter.
