Lynda Gail Trahan went to be with the lord peacefully Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018. She fought a good fight against breast cancer. She was a long-time resident of Carmine. She was in College Station at the time of her death. Lynda was born in Port Arthur on Sept. 21, 1944. Daughter of Asa and Betty Trahan, she was the oldest of six children. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Port Arthur - class of 1963. While raising her children, she lived in Port Arthur, Beaumont, Houston and Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved gardening and dreamed of land with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. She is survived by three of her siblings, Kerry Trahan and his wife Rosetta of Port Neches, Hope Hallmark of Nederland, and Jolita Trahan of Florence, Italy; her two sons, Bert Fink and his wife D-Nan of Amarillo, and Michael Trahan and his wife Amy of Houston; her three grandsons, Ryan Fink, Luke Trahan and Alex Trahan; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at A Church of Jesus, 601 Victor Dr., Port Neches, Texas 77651 In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to your preferred cancer research foundation
