Holladay

Dennis Lee Holladay, 61, of La Grange died Nov. 7, 2018. A memorial service was held on Nov. 10, 2018 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange at 2 p.m. Dennis was born to Harvey and Ruby (Thomas) Holladay on Sept. 5, 1957 in California. He married Arlene Price on July 14, 2007. He was a truck driver. Known to everyone as a family man, Dennis loved spending time with his grandchildren more than anything. He spent his time with them feeding the animals on his little farm. He also spent time hunting and fishing with his friends and family. He is survived by wife Arlene (Price) Holladay, son Cory Holladay and wife Danielle, daughter Amber Hielscher and husband Jerry, brother Bobby Holladay and wife Ginger, sister Kathryn Hasbrouck and husband Ali, sister Harvalena Holladay, five grandchildren: Collin Muesse, Corri Ann Holladay, Scout Hielscher, Conner Price, Rylan Price, stepson Kyle Price and wife Charlotte, Father and mother-in-law Tommy and Glenda Price, brother-in-law Michael Price, numerous nieces and nephews and friend Rayma Holladay. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Rebecca (Holladay) Adkins. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 1048 N Jefferson St, La Grange, Texas 78945; The Texas Ramp Project, P.O. Box 832065, Richardson, Texas 75086; or the charity of one’s choice. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
