Land Lines and Cell Phones

Just a Thought

These days, it seems everyone has a cell phone. Along with that, most people have given up their land line phones. The reasons given for not continuing to keep the land lines are 1) it’s outdated, 2) it never works right, and 3) it’s too expensive to keep both.

I’ll be the first to admit that I love the convenience of my cell phone. Change of plans – just call the people (even when they are on the way) and let everyone know. Your kiddo rode the bus instead of staying after school for practice – no problem. Just call the person who was supposed to pick them up and tell them the new pickup point.
