The Nutcracker – Through a Child’s Eyes

Just a Thought

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Nutcracker. My experience on Saturday afternoon was probably a bit different than most, but it definitely did not disappoint.

The ballet itself was wonderful. The students from the Austin-based Ovation Ballet Company were well-trained. The production was very professionally done.

The venue, Round Top’s Festival Institute, is breath-taking to say the least. There is not a bad seat in the house. Just the experience of being in that building is pretty amazing.
