Carmine Chamber Announces Christmas Lighting Contest Winners

Winners in the Carmine Chamber of Commerce Christmas lighting contest were announced. In the Business division, first place went to McCaul Style and second place to Darlene’s Custom Sewing. In the Residence division, first place was won by Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Byrket, second place by Mr. and Mrs. Fernando Cerda and third place by Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Markwardt. Prizes were given to the winners. The chamber thanks the judges and everybody for participating and making the extra effort to make Carmine beautiful.

RT-C School News

Round Top-Carmine varsity girls play at McDade on Jan. 22 at 5 p.m. They host Waelder Jan. 25, also at 5 p.m.

Jr. High girls and boys play at Moulton on Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. They will participate in the Dime Box tournament. They host Fayetteville on Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. It is Parent’s Night.
