Leopards Rally to Beat the Tigers

The La Grange boys trailed Smithville at halftime Friday before battling back to grab a key district basketball win 55-40 over the Tigers.

Kayton Powell led La Grange with 25 points, and Austin Wick scored all 15 of his points in the second half.

The Leps were down 26-22 at the half, but it didn’t stay that way for long after halftime.

Friday’s victory improves the Leps’ overall record to 14-7 and their district mark to 2-1.
