Navidad Valley Connections Members Learn About Pesticides

Navidad Valley Community Connections members started Monday with chair yoga. As usual, Cindy gave a great workout. Many folks continue to join, so don’t feel shy. Come at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays for this fun activity. It’s a good time to make new acquaintances, as well. For those members who come early, there are always several types of domino games being played. It’s great fun and sometimes gets quite loud and competitive.

Last Monday Ben Colvin spoke to NVCC members about “The Uses and Dangers of Pesticides”. It was extremely informative, and even those who thought they “knew it all” learned some valuable tips. He gave many insights for those of us doing their owning household spraying, and when to call a professional. A few lessons were when and where to use each type of product.
