Marian Lively

Marian Lively, 72, died on Nov. 23, 2013. She was born May 2, 1941 at the family farm near Kirtley to parents Bessie and Gilbert Richards. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmond; her parents; and her brother, Gilbert Richards. Marian is survived by her brother, John Richards and wife Lisa; her sister, Barbara Seargeant and husband Tommy; sister-in-law, Nell Richards; stepchildren Rodney Lively and wife Jeannie; Diane Stock and husband David; and step-grandchildren Randy and Amber Lively; and Delaney Stock. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Marian graduated from Smithville High School and began a 30-year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. After retiring she moved to Warrenton where she enjoyed living in the country, doing arts and crafts, and the April and October antique show that brought thousands of vendors and shoppers to the Warrenton area. Visitation was held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, with funeral services following at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home in Smithville. Graveside services
