Local Chief Of Police is Suspended, Allegations Investigated

The City of Flatonia placed Police Chief Perry Kram on paid suspension last week pending the outcome of an unspecified investigation.

City Manager Mark McLaughlin declined to speak about the nature of the investigation, but he did say it came in response to multiple allegations of misconduct.

“It would be premature to discuss the allegations because to do so would insert bias into the investigation,” McLaughlin said.
