Homer Bailey Signs Minor League Deal with Royals

Former La Grange High School star pitcher Homer Bailey signed a minor league deal with the Kansas City Royals Saturday.

The deal includes a invitation to Spring Training with the Royals as Bailey tries to work his way back to becoming one of the most feared right-handed pitchers in baseball. Bailey, 32, had spent his entire 12-year pro career with the Cincinnati Reds before being traded to the Dodger in December and then was released by Los Angeles.
