Navidad Valley Community Center Celebrates Valentines

Navidad Valley Community Connections had a great day on Wednesday, Feb. 13. at the center as members celebrated Valentine’s Day. Entertainment was provided by the elementary students from St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Schulenburg. Members enjoyed the very professional songs, but also some funny sweetheart knock-knock jokes.

NVCC has scheduled a representative from Carts to host a lunch and learn presentation on Monday, March 11.

NVCC has more space for domino players. The games start at 9 a.m. and members play a variety of games, so if you’re not as proficient in “straight”, members can play Mexican train, etc. Just come in and join the fun. If you can’t get there at nine, games are added as folks arrive. NVCC also serves fresh coffee, regular and decaf, tea, iced tea, water and a light breakfast.
