Here it is September already and I’m feeling tired and out of sorts. My husband asked, What’s wrong? Are you sick? I told him I did not know what was wrong, until it suddenly dawned on me this week, I’ve been working hard. August had a lot of really hot days even here in the Ouachitas and I haven’t had a vacation this year. Unless you count an overnighter to El Dorado?

Looking at the calendar, I see a span of six days starting on the 16th that holds no doctor, dental or optometrist appointments for either one of us. If I write at least five hours a day for two-three days, I can whip up a few more columns to get out before that date. Where can we go?
