Maurice F. (Butch) Granville died peacefully at home, Monday, May 14, 2018. Born in La Grange, Oct. 26, 1915, he was the son of Maurice Frederick Granville and Dorothea (Dora) Hulda von Rosenberg. He attended schools in La Grange where he showed evidence of his future capabilities.

Rita Ann Kana Brossmann, 72, of Schulenburg, passed away on Friday, April 27 at Victoria. The funeral was held on Wednesday, May 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Mariam Henniger Norwood, 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 25, 2018. She was born on June 14, 1927 in Fayetteville to Raymond and Emma Henniger. She married Budd Norwood on Dec. 25, 1946 and after 60 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on April 2, 2007.

Lucille “Luci” Jane Hruska, 56, of Ellinger, died on Friday, May 11, 2018. Luci was born in La Grange on Aug. 23, 1961, the daughter of Gus and Sarah (Kochenderfer) Hruska. She worked as an office administrator for several construction firms.

Good friend and beloved community member Norma Mary Webb set to the skies one final time as she passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at her home in La Grange. The youngest of six children of George and Mary Ellen Ahern Webb, Norma was born in Houston on Nov. 23, 1919.
