The Lady Leps faced Fulshear in Columbus for the playoff bi-district match on Tuesday evening, October 30. They were defeated with game scores of 25-23, 10-25, 14-25 and 18-25. Their season’s overall record was 23-17 and their season’s district record was 6-4.

The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Luling in four sets Monday in Flatonia in a Class 3A playoff match. The victory vaults the Lady Horns into the second round of the playoffs, where they will face Blanco at 7 p.m. in the area round at San Marcos High School.

The La Grange Lady Leps varsity volleyball team defeated the Smithville Lady Tigers on Tuesday, October 23. The Lady Leps won the match in three games with scores of 25-23, 25- 18 and 25-20. Tuesday night’s victory made the girls’ district record 6-4 and their overall record 23-16.

The Flatonia football team snapped a four-game losing streak in a big way Friday, winning their Homecoming game 49-0 over Somerville.
The Flatonia defense limited Somerville to just 11 total yards, while the Bulldogs amassed 340 yards themselves.
