The Flatonia Bulldogs got their season off to a powerful start, rushing for 329 yards en route to a 34-18 victory over Runge Friday at home.
Flatonia’s DaKory Willis ran for a team-high 169 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bulldog attack.

On Tuesday, August 28, all three La Grange girls high school volleyball teams won every game against Rice.
The freshman team won 25-11 and 25-15. JV won both games with a score of 25-11. The Varsity girls won three games with scores of 25-13, 25- 14 and 25-21.

What a year 2018 has already been for former Fayetteville High School standout athlete Logan Stoelke.
This spring Stoelke played his senior season for Louisiana- Lafayette University, appearing in 21 games and getting 10 saves with a 2.97 ERA.

Officially, the La Grange football team lost to Victoria West 9-6 in their preseason scrimmage Friday before hundreds of football-starved fans at Leopard Stadium.
But the way the scrimmage ended had the Leps feeling pretty excited about the way the evening went.

The Schulenburg volleyball team won the title of their home tournament in dominant fashion, winning all eight matches they played, and punctuating the 16-team event with a 27-25, 25- 17 victory in the championship match over defending 3A state champ Goliad.
