The La Grange Volunteer Fire Department put out a car fire in the HEB parking lot Saturday evening, Jan. 18. The fire broke out around 6 p.m. The fire began in the engine compartment, according to Fire Chief Frank Menefee. Menefee said the car appeared to be damaged beyond repair.
