The fly-in and open house at Fayette Regional Air Center last Saturday almost went off without a hitch. Strong winds that afternoon sent one light aircraft tumbling off the runway when it tried taking off. The pilot was not injured.

An 18-wheeler rollover on US 77 south of La Grange blocked traffic for about four hours Thursday afternoon while workers cleared the wreckage. The wreck happened about three miles south of the Bluff near Peter Rainosek Loop around 2 a.m. Thursday morning, April 12.
