Fire Burns 400 Hay Bales in Ellinger

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that around 6:28 a.m. on Friday morning, May 18, his office recieved a call reporting a barn on fire at the Banks Ranch in Ellinger.

Accident on US 77 Slowing Traffic through Swiss Alp

A two-vehicle accident is slowing traffic between Schulenburg and La Grange on US 77 this Friday morning, May 18.

The accident took place a short distance north of FM 956 near Swiss Alp around 10:15 a.m.

Flatonia High School Seniors To Graduate Friday May 25

Habitat Houses Going Up

A team of Habitat for Humanity Care-A-Vanners is in La Grange working on three home sites which are under construction at 938 Pearl Street. Care-A-Vanners are volunteers who travel from build to build in recreational vehicles.
