Justina Kristina (Chovanec) Zbranek, 93, died at her home on Feb. 27, 2017. Justina was born, one of thirteen children, at home in Rutersville, on Oct. 4, 1923 to John and Julia (Polasek) Chovanec. She was united in marriage with Eddie Zbranek in March 1943.

Pauline A. (Orsak) Motl, 96, of La Grange, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 at St. Mark’s Medical Center. Pauline was born in Fayetteville on May 31, 1920, the daughter of John K. Orsak and Pauline (Jochec) Orsak. She was the youngest of four children.
