Genaro Sanchez, 79, of La Grange, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017. Genaro was born in Mexico on July 19, 1938, the son of Jose and Rebecca (Salomon) Sanchez. He married Amelia Villasana on Feb. 19, 1966 in Mexico. Genaro was a coal miner in Mexico and worked many years as a custom cabinet maker.

Marion Ruth (Walling) Johnson, 73, of La Grange, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. Marion was born in Oregon on Sept. 20, 1944, the daughter of George L. Walling and Anna L. (Stewart) Walling. She loved to travel and spent many years traveling all over the world.

Emma Annie Blinka Helweg, 94, formerly of Dickinson, died Nov. 27, 2017 in Columbus. Emma was born on the family farm on Park Rd. in Fayetteville to Anna Johanna (Andreas) and Adolph F. Blinka on August 7, 1923. She was brought into this world by mid-wife, Mrs. Zelsky of Fayetteville.

Barbara Ann (Oppermann) Fulton, 74, of Bastrop, (formerly of La Grange) died on Monday, November 27, 2017, following a short yet courageous battle with aggressive brain cancer. Barbara was born in La Grange on Jan. 31, 1943, the daughter of Arthur and Glennie (Eilers) Oppermann.

Agnes M. Mitschke, 73, was born May 2, 1944 and died Nov. 11, 2017, at Monument Hill Nursing Home in La Grange. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.

Willie Jean Rogers, 88, beloved mother and friend, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 15, 2017. She was born in Floresville in 1929. She married Jack Ingram and moved to La Grange in 1950. Jean was a member of First Baptist Church of La Grange where she served many years.

Carol Dean Young, 79, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2017. She was born Sept. 20, 1938 in Temple, Okla. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Madaline Glasgow and brother Dennis Glasgow.
